ILGCN CALLING -- MAY 2019
MAY 17 -- ILGCN joins with Tupilak (Nordic rainbow culture workers) for a May 17 event saluting IDAHO Day and Estonian 101 year-independence at Estonia House in Stockholm. (Program in ILGCN and Tupilak facebooks.)
GOTHENBURG -- ILGCN and Tupilak will have several seminars on LGBT culture and history and Nordic co-operation at
WestPride, Gothenburg June 12-16. Works from the ILGCN & Tupilak Travelling Rainbow Art & Photo Exhibition will
be displayed at the event. (Now works from over 60 countries!)
AUGUST 9 -- ILGCN Information Secretariat-Stockholm will ask all ILGCN members and friends to join us in a "skål"
to the International Day of Rainbow Culture on August 9 -- also the birthday of Finnish author and painter, Tove Jansson
- creator of the "Mumintroll.
OCTOBER --ILGCN and Tupilak will join forces -- and encourage LGBT organizations in the Nordic region -- for
the 4th Nordic Month of Rainbow Culture & History -- October, 2019 (in a dozen Nordic cities).
